Efficient With Low Carbon Footprint
The Algorand Foundation CEO explained to the Yahoo journalist how Algorand, as a blockchain, is very efficient with a low carbon footprint, using a small amount of energy and buying carbon offsets to ensure carbon negativity.
She also discussed the benefits of the Algorand blockchain, including fast and cheap transactions, decentralized ledgers, and potential uses for identity, tracing goods, democratic governance systems, and tokenization of real-world assets.
AI Could Improve Protocols
Lastly, the discussion touched on the relationship between blockchain and AI, with Warden suggesting that AI could optimize protocols and improve user experiences for blockchain applications.
